How my Fascinate Test Results were Shaped by my Real Life Experiences

I love personality tests in general, being a psychology minor in college, I find psychology one of the most important pieces in marketing. The importance of knowing ourselves, our behaviors, and our consumers behaviors is invaluable information.

When I take these tests though, I do often think about what I wish was true versus what is actually true. I have conducted some marketing research in the past, and often people respond the way that they want to be seen or thought of, rather than what is actually true. I was trying to be very aware of how I really feel about myself and I think the results are very conducive to this. Now, let me dive into some of my results from the Fascinate Test.

My archetype is the anchor, meaning that I am known for through thinking, I am trusted by my peers in moments of crisis and I am typically quiet and keep my cool under stressful situation. Lastly that my advice is very well taken and trusted.

I can see how all these results correlate to myself for two reasons. The first one is that I feel that is how my dad is thought of and conducted in business scenarios and I believe I probably got some of that from him. Secondly, I worked in an extremely toxic work environment as my first job and I often took the protective role and stuck up for my peers in moments that were very intimidating to me. Reading this analysis I know it is accurate because I have had all the characteristics in a real life scenario and I am proud to have these results.

My primary trigger is trust, and my secondary trigger is mystique. Trust I agree with completely, I also believe I am very quick at knowing how I feel about someones character. This has been important for me in the past in my career due to the environment I was in.

None of my results from the test surprise me at all, and I hope that my peers do look at me for advice, this might be why I often end up in the leadership role in my groups. I love hearing everyones ideas and coaching people through different perspectives.

In forming a personal brand, I know my negative work environment was actually so important in learning how to deal with controversy, having a voice during those times, and being able to lead others through the process as well. My personal brand changed dramatically from who I thought I was after college to my transition into the business world and I know I will continue to change and evolve as I gain more experience.
